Scholarship & Grant Opportunities
Rural & Remote Scholarships
These scholarships are primarily available to rural and remote practitioners who are members of Continence Health Australia and reside in an RA2 zone or higher.
Funding for these scholarships is provided by the volunteer State and Territory Advisory Committees of Continence Health Australia, continuing a longstanding commitment to supporting practitioners in rural and remote communities across Australia.
Scholarship allocations:
These scholarships are provided as reimbursements upon receipt of submission, up to the maximum amount allocated for each state as outlined above.
Application deadlines:
Applicants are encouraged to register for the event prior to applying. Successful recipients will be reimbursed through the scholarship, enabling them to secure leave entitlements in advance.
If a recipient has not registered at the time of award, $185 (equivalent to the Early Bird registration fee) will be deducted from the scholarship amount, and a complimentary registration will be provided.

Sally Pang-Rippingale Scholarship
The Sally Pang Scholarship honours the legacy of Sally Pang Rippingale, a trailblazer in continence health, nursing and community care in New South Wales.
This annual $2,000 scholarship supports continence practitioners in NSW and is funded by the NSW State Committee of Continence Health Australia, where Sally was a longstanding and influential member. This can be used for any continence education, training or event for the following 12 months.
Following Sally’s passing in 2024, the scholarship continues her legacy by supporting practitioners committed to improving community-based continence care. This scholarship is open solely to NSW members and is awarded at the NSW Professional Development Day, which you must attend and register to receive the award.
Eligibility: Open to continence practitioners in New South Wales only and close on 4 August 2026
CHARG
Research grants for continence care
CHARG – the Continence Health Australia Research Grant – is a program that provides funding for small studies and early-career research to improve understanding, management, and delivery of continence care.
Timing: Applications for the first round will open in September 2026.
